Kinder Farm is a small, family run horse boarding and lesson facility. Numerous hours were spent in the layout and design of the facility to assure a safe, horse friendly environment for both horse and rider. We are currently full, but will happily put you and your horse or pony on a short waiting list.
This summer we will be restructuring the 4H program and assigning each member a project horse or pony. There will be a limited enrollment and a waiting list is available for the truely "horse crazed' children. Members will be expected to partake in stable management, and feeding, as well as riding. Presentation of newly learned skills will be encouraged and community sevice expected for families partaking in the program.
Ronnie Henighan will be accepting new students interested in Carriage Driving. Current members of the barn are having a lot of fun learning how to harness, and ground drive through cones, and obstacles. Who said adults are too big to enjoy a pony? (Check out our video clip)
Mr. Roger Leithead will be escorting small groups through the newly opened Sunset Trails this Spring. 1000 acres of groomed trails, only 1/2 mile from Kinder Farm. The trail association will be open to all horse enthusiasts for a small yearly fee. This is by far, the most exciting thing to happen to the Kinderhook horse community in 50 years. Volunteers are needed to maintain and mark trails.
